Pit cleaning done from inside the pit. The man in the pit wears a harness on a tag line, and a dedicated hole watch stays topside the whole time making sure he is okay and safe from start to finish.

Pit cleanout as part of a customer's cleaning program, between operations or ahead of closure work.


Our Role

Jenks provides the crew, the entry controls and the equipment. Customer or third-party vacuum support is used when it is needed; Jenks does not currently provide vacuum trucks or waste hauling.

Do you clean from inside the pit?

Yes. Pit cleaning is done from inside the pit. The man in the pit wears a harness on a tag line, and a dedicated hole watch stays topside with eyes on him for the entire job — nobody works a pit alone.

Who provides vacuum support?

The customer or a third party. Jenks provides the cleaning labor and equipment and coordinates with the vacuum contractor so the job runs in the right order.
