How the job runs
- 01You send the scope: what the pipe needs, where it sits and when the crew is needed.
- 02The crew arrives at the rack or yard, checks in and completes the JSA.
- 03Pipe is washed, rolled, measured, tallied or drifted per the assigned scope, under the customer's direction.
- 04The tally and job documentation are turned over to the customer representative.
Pipe Services questions
What does your pipe tally include?
Each joint is measured and recorded, and the running footage is maintained accurately through the job. The finished tally is documented and turned over to the company man — paper or digital, whichever your operation requires.
Do you drift pipe?
Yes, when drift is included in the assigned scope and the correct drift equipment and specifications have been provided and confirmed. Jenks supplies the labor for drifting — we do not manufacture, certify or inspect pipe.
Can you wash pipe before inspection or transport?
Yes. Pipe is washed on the rack or in the yard as directed by the customer, ahead of inspection, transport or storage — clean pipe measures and inspects the way it should.
Do you supply the hands for pipe rolling?
Yes. Jenks provides manpower for authorized pipe rolling and handling on the rack, performed under the customer's direction and site requirements — during washing, inspection, measuring or tally work.
