How the job runs
- 01You confirm the scope, the tanks or pits involved and whether vacuum support is arranged.
- 02The crew arrives, checks in with the site representative and completes the JSA.
- 03Tanks and pits are washed from outside the space — no entry, no exceptions.
- 04The work is verified with the customer representative and documented on the ticket.
Tank & Pit Support questions
Do your crews enter tanks or pits?
No. All Jenks tank and pit work is performed from outside the space. Pits, cellars, vessels and similar spaces are no-entry areas under our current scope — that line does not move, and it removes the highest-risk exposure from the job.
Do you provide vacuum trucks or haul waste?
No. Jenks provides the cleaning labor and equipment. Vacuum trucks and waste hauling come from the customer or a third party, and we coordinate with them so the job runs in the right order.
Which tanks do you clean?
Frac tanks, open-top tanks and pits — typically between jobs, before tanks are released and moved, or as part of the customer's cleaning program.
Why do you work non-entry only?
It's a deliberate scope decision. Jenks crews work only within their training, equipment and authorization — and confined-space entry isn't in that scope today. Customers get a crew that knows exactly where its limits are.
